Dead pixel vs stuck pixel
A dead pixel usually appears dark across every field. A stuck pixel keeps one subpixel or color active when the rest of the image changes. A browser color test can help you find a visible anomaly, while the final interpretation remains yours.
How to inspect
Clean the display gently, show solid black, white, red, green and blue fields, and scan the whole panel. Do not press or rub the panel to “fix” a pixel.
What to do after you find one
Record its approximate location and the fields where it is visible. Compare the observation with the seller’s pixel policy and return window.
